Our Mission
We work to keep all kids safe from preventable injuries.

Safe Kids is a worldwide organization that was founded in 1988, and since then has contributed to a 56% decline in childhood deaths due to accidental injury. It has branches in all 50 states. Safe Kids Sarpy/Cass was founded in 2006, is dedicated to educating families about childhood safety because of 90% of accidental injuries can be avoided through adequate education. Safe Kids Sarpy/Cass offers free interactive safety presentations to schools, daycares, libraries, parent groups, and other organizations in Sarpy and Cass Counties.

Safe Kids Sarpy/Cass addresses childhood injury prevention in priority areas such: pedestrian safety, wheeled sports safety, home safety, water safety, poison prevention, fire safety, child passenger safety and falls.
